It was such a pleasure to participate in this year's Evanston Open Studios event!
It was nice to see familiar faces and meet fellow community artists and residents.
The day involved a display of handmade art designs by Jessica Lynn Creations-- a collection of crochet apparel, décor and accessories for babies (and American Girl dolls of course!), children, teens and adults.
In addition, mandala art-making was provided for kids, who enjoyed engaging in art activity alongside their friends and caregivers. It was nice to meet so many talented, creative spirits enjoy the imaginative experience while listening to relaxing music and taking some time for themselves.
The wonderful services offered through Blue Lotus were also shared. Visitors had an opportunity to discover and learn about creativity courses, individual mental health counseling, group art therapy, previous workshops, party and event planning options as well as upcoming programs taking place in this warm, friendly and nurturing environment.
